How to Apply

We participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Geriatric Medicine Match. Applications should be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). For more details, visit the ERAS website.

Application Requirements

A complete application includes:

  • Three letters of recommendation, including one from your residency program director
  • Personal statement outlining your interest in geriatric medicine
  • Medical school transcripts
  • USMLE/FLEX scores

Applicants must be eligible for board certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). A valid Illinois medical license is required at the start of the fellowship.
