Postdoctoral Training Program
The postdoctoral training program in Hematology/Oncology at The University of Chicago provides advanced training for qualified applicants in a broad area of cancer research. Funded in large part by an NIH Institutional Research Service Award, the program provides the postdoctoral fellow with training in basic cancer research preparing them for academic research careers.
Through interactions with members of the hematology/oncology section and other investigators within The University of Chicago, the trainee will be provided with a broad and in-depth laboratory based training experience in the latest molecular and cellular techniques utilized in cancer research. Trainees receive and attend weekly lecture series on recent developments in cancer research presented by national and international authorities in the area.
