The Department of Medicine’s 2020 Janet D. Rowley Research Day will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. Dr. Rowley devoted her life to science and is considered one of the most important scientists of the 20th century for her transformative contributions to cancer biology and cancer treatment. This year’s keynote speaker will be Paul Ridker, MD, the Eugene Braunwald Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Director of the Center for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention in the Division of Preventive Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Ridker’s talk entitled “”Inflammation and Atherothrombosis: From Theory to Proven Interventions” will take place at noon in P117.

All clinical and research fellows, postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty (Instructors, Assistant Professors, Research Assistant Professors),and graduate students (non-medical students) are invited to submit an abstract by Friday, January 31, 2020.
