Yichun Fu, MD, is a gastroenterologist with a particular focus on complex small bowel disorders, celiac disease and intestinal failure. She trained in Internal Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, and Gastroenterology at University of Chicago.
Dr. Fu is committed to managing challenging nutrition and malabsorption issues and providing specialized nutritional support. This includes therapies such as parenteral nutrition and GLP-2 analogues that promote recovery and improve quality of life. Additionally, she excels in treating celiac disease and related small bowel disorders. She is involved in the research in the Celiac Disease Center, and conducts projects that improve the outcome of parenteral nutrition support.
