Ethan Molitch-Hou, MD MPH SFHM, is an academic hospitalist who specializes in the care of hospitalized patients. Dr. Molitch-Hou earned his MD and MPH at Northwestern University and completed his Internal Medicine training with the University of Chicago. He previously worked as a primary care physician, community hospitalist before returning to University of Chicago in January 2020. He served as the lead hospitalist for COVID care in our COVID unit during the early stages of the pandemic. Dr. Molitch-Hou now serves as the director of the Hospital Medicine Sub-Internship rotation, core faculty for the Internal Medicine Residency, and as co-medical director of the Care Transitions Clinic.
