Christopher Kasia, MD, is a gastroenterologist and transplant hepatologist who specializes in the evaluation and management of patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). In addition, he takes care of patients with a variety of other gastrointestinal disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), abdominal pain, and gastro-esophageal reflux diseases (GERD). He performs a variety of endoscopic procedures, including esophagogastroduodenoscopies (EGD), colonoscopies, BRAVO pH capsule deployment and interpretation, as well as esophageal dilations. He is a dedicated mentor in clinical education for medical students, residents, and fellows.
