Arti Tewari, MD

Dr. Tewari is a hospitalist at the University of Chicago whose work focuses on improving acute care delivery, optimizing off-hours clinical operations, and advancing the use of point-of-care ultrasound in internal medicine. As the Director of Off-Hours Care and Chair of the Ultrasound and Procedures Committee, she leads initiatives that enhance clinical quality, trainee education, and system efficiency. She also serves as Medical Director for the Seva Clinic, a free clinic in Chicago, where she supervises medical students in partnership with the Indian American Medical Association Charitable Foundation Free Clinic to expand access to medical services for uninsured and underinsured residents, particularly South and Southeast Asian immigrants.
