Dr. Amber Pincavage is a Professor in the Section of General Internal Medicine, Medicine Clerkship Director, and Phase 2 Director at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She is also a Core Faculty Member for the University of Chicago Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Pincavage is a primary care physician and supervises residents on the teaching general medicine hospital service. Dr. Pincavage’s education and research interests include handoffs in the undergraduate to graduate medical education transition, ambulatory medical education, clinical reasoning, assessment, equity in medical education, and clinical undergraduate education. She previously served as the Clerkship Directors in Internal Medicine (CDIM) President and on the board of the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine (AAIM).
