The Infectious Diseases and Global Health Fellowship Program participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applications to our fellowship should be made to the ERAS at their website. The Fellowship Program participates in the Medical Specialties Matching Program of the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). Applicants should register with the NRMP at their website.

Application Requirements:

Physician applicants should have completed at least two years of training in Medicine. Applicants must be ABIM board-eligible and have a medical License for Illinois.

Applicants should submit at least 3 letters of recommendation.

Calendar:

December 1, 2009 to March 30, 2009 Applications accepted through ERAS
December 1, 2009 to March 30, 2010 Fellowship applications  reviewed.
January 5, 2010 to April 30, 2010

Fellowship interviews.

We accept applications through ERAS only, and we participate in the NRMP.  After your application and letters of recommendation have been received, your file will be reviewed by our fellowship committee.  A limited number of fellowship applicants will be invited for an interview.  We consider applicants who are not U.S. citizens if they have an immigrant visa or an exchange visa.  However, we regret that we cannot accept H1B and similar visas.
