2020 OPEN ENROLLMENT

Open Enrollment for 2020 will occur from November 1 – 15, 2019. This is your annual opportunity to select the benefits that are right for you and your family for calendar year 2020. Beginning November 1, 2019, you will be able to add, change or remove coverage from your current benefit plans by visiting Workday at workday.uchicago.edu and entering your CNetID and CNet password. Any new elections and all changes will become effective January 1, 2020, and continue through December 31, 2020.

The Benefits Team will be sending out benefits information in a few weeks via US Mail. In preparation for these upcoming mailings, we ask that you review; and if needed, update your mailing address in Workday. Please ask your units to do the same.

Open Enrollment Information Sessions

In an effort to provide information and assistance during the 2020 Open Enrollment period, the Benefits Department will be offering three “Open Enrollment Information Sessions.” All sessions will be held at 6054 S. Drexel Avenue in Rm 144 followed by enrollment lab sessions in Rm 146 beginning at 12pm on:

Benefits and Health Fair

Mark your calendars! The Annual Benefits and Health Fair will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 9am-4pm at Ida Noyes Hall (1212 E. 59th Street).

In collaboration with benefit plan representatives, the Benefits Team is bringing exciting new informational sessions to the Benefits and Health Fair this year. All sessions will take place in the Max Palevsky Cinema located on the first floor of Ida Noyes Hall on November 7.
