The annual poster session will be held using a virtual platform. All clinical and research fellows, postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty (Instructors, Assistant Professors, Research Assistant Professor and graduate students (non-medical students) are invited to submit an e-poster (not an abstract) no later than Friday January 28, 2022.    This year pharmacists, APNs, PAs, therapists, nurses, junior staff scientists are eligible to submit a poster as long as they have a least one DOM faculty coauthor listed on their poster submission and are employees of the Department of Medicine.   Two e- poster templates are attached for your submission.  The poster submission site is now open at this link: https://med-spportal01.bsd.uchicago.edu/researchday2021/.  Posters must be uploaded in PDF format only. (In power point, click ‘Save As’, select location, use drop-down menu to choose pdf, click “Minimum Size” at the bottom before saving).  We are also requesting that you provide 4 or 5 keywords so that we may cluster posters together for live moderated poster sessions.

• Translational Research
• Health Services, Medical Education, Social Sciences

We would like to announce two exciting opportunities for junior faculty and trainees that will be offered on Research Day this year:

1. Meet the Professor: K awardees/Coggeshall/Pathway Instructors/Advanced Fellows will have an opportunity to meet with Dr. Rathmell on March 1 between the 9:00-10:00am.   Watch for a Save the Date to hit your calendar.
2. Mentorship Office Hours: Junior faculty and trainees will have an opportunity to meet with a senior faculty member for on March 1 between 10:00am-11:30am.  These 15-minute office hour slots will provide you with an opportunity to get to know senior faculty on campus, share your work and interests, seek career advice, get advice or feedback on projects and help identify potential collaborators.  Senior Mentorship Office Hours are open to junior faculty, staff and trainees affiliated with the DOM.
