ACGME Fellowship Program - Conferences

Internal Conferences

Several important conferences are offered to enhance the educational opportunities and academic development of the fellow. Each fellow is expected to participate fully in:

  • Core Curriculum: Endocrinology Fellows’ Lecture Series, Mondays from 3:00-4:00 p.m.
  • Fellows Journal Club or Board Review session, Mondays from 4:00-5:00 p.m.
  • Endocrine Research Seminar, Mondays 5:00 -6:00 p.m.
  • Endocrine Rounds, Thursdays from 4:30-6:00 p.m.
  • Combined Endorama, Endocrine Surgery, and Pathology conference, every 3rd Thursday from 4:30-6:00 p.m.
  • Pituitary Clinic Conference, once quarterly (Friday) from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
  • Ob/Gyne Infertility Conference
  • Department of Medicine Grand Rounds, Tuesdays from noon -1:00 p.m.
  • CMMN seminar, Wednesdays at noon.
  • Fellows’ Research Meeting with Mentor (once or twice weekly, depending on the laboratory)

Depending on the nature of their research project, fellows may also elect to participate in the following conferences:

  • Weekly Biochemistry Lecture
  • Special Named Lectures in the Division of Biological Sciences
  • Immunology Seminar
  • Elective Courses in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Experimental Design offered through Department of Health Studies
  • EPOR – Essentials of Patient Oriented Research
