This is the eighteenth annual conference on clinical medical ethics sponsered by the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics at the University of Chicago. The Center's aim is to foster a network of clinical scholars worldwide who use clinical ethics to improve the quality of patient care and paitient outcomes.
This year's conference focuses on health care reform, surrogate decision-making, and medical ethics research. Invited speakers include Nancy Kane, Harvard School of Public Health, Bruce Vladeck, The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Uwe Reinhardt, the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University. We are delighted that many of the MacLean Center former fellows will be able to participate in the conference. |
