ACGME Fellowship Program - How to Apply

The University uses the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). In addition to the Common Application Forms submitted through ERAS (http://www.aamc.org/audienceeras.htm) we also require three letters of recommendation, a personal statement and your CV.

For information on fellowship training expectations in general, the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education has published a list of its requirements here.

After we receive the completed application including three supporting letters, your file will be reviewed and you will be notified regarding the advisability of an interview. Applicants must be eligible for certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and must be licensed by the State of Illinois at the time they begin their fellowship.
